Buffalo Chicken Dip in a Crock Pot Recipe

Buffalo Chicken Dip is a deliciously creamy and spicy appetizer that's perfect for parties, game days, or any casual get-together. Making it in a crock pot ensures it stays warm and ready to serve whenever you need it.

Here's how you can make this crowd-pleaser with minimal effort.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (adjust to your spice preference)
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions (optional)
  • Naan bread, tortilla chips, carrot sticks, celery sticks, or crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Set your crock pot to low heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In the crock pot, add the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Stir to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Cook the Dip: Cover the crock pot and cook on low for about 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is heated through. About 20 minutes before you are ready to serve it I like to add the rest of the shredded cheese.
  4. Add Optional Ingredients: If using, stir in the crumbled blue cheese and chopped green onions just before serving for extra flavor and texture.
  5. Serve: Once the dip is hot and creamy, switch the crock pot to the "warm" setting. Serve the dip directly from the crock pot with naan bread, tortilla chips, carrot sticks, celery sticks, or crackers.
