Let’s start with “What is RumChata?”
RumChata is a cream liqueur made from a blend of rum, natural dairy cream, and spices, primarily cinnamon. Made in Wisconsin it is inspired by the Spanish and Latin American drink horchata. It’s known for its smooth, creamy texture and sweet, spiced flavor that combines the richness of dairy cream with the warmth of cinnamon and vanilla.
RumChata starts with premium Caribbean rum, which is then blended with dairy cream and a unique mix of spices. The result is a harmonious balance of flavors that is both indulgent and refreshing. Its versatility means that RumChata can be enjoyed in a myriad of ways: over ice, in coffee, mixed into cocktails, or even as a topping for your favorite desserts. This liqueur's adaptability has made it a staple in many home bars and a favorite among mixologists and enthusiasts alike.
Almond Snickerdoodle
The Almond Snickerdoodle cocktail is a perfect blend of creamy and nutty flavors, with just the right amount of sweetness and warmth from the cinnamon. The RumChata provides a rich, velvety base, while the Disaronno adds a hint of almond. This cocktail is sure to be a hit at any gathering, offering a comforting and indulgent treat that captures the essence of a beloved cookie in liquid form. Cheers to delicious creativity!
Iced RumChata Coffee
If you're looking for a refreshing and indulgent coffee drink that perfectly balances creamy sweetness with a hint of cinnamon, iced RumChata coffee is the answer. This delicious beverage combines the smooth richness of RumChata, a cream liqueur with flavors of cinnamon and vanilla, with the bold taste of iced coffee. Whether you're lounging on a warm afternoon or hosting a brunch with friends, this iced coffee drink is sure to impress. To make your drink even more visually stunning, try using glass coffee cups.
RumChata Root beer Float
A RumChata Root Beer Float is the perfect fusion of a childhood favorite mixed with adult indulgence. This delightful treat blends the smooth, velvety flavors of RumChata with the fizzy, refreshing taste of root beer, creating a drink that's both comforting and exciting. Add a few scoops of ice cream to the mix and you have a treat that is perfect for a hot day or an after-dinner treat. This is a fun dessert to serve at your next gathering or a special treat to enjoy on a cozy night in.
RumChata Pudding Shot
One of my favorite ways to serve RumChata is in a pudding shot. There are a fun and delicious way to elevate your party treats. Combining the creamy, cinnamon-flavored liqueur with pudding creates a delightful dessert with a kick. The whipped cream makes the texture light. These easy to make sweet treats can be made ahead of time and stored in the freezer until you are ready to serve them. Here are six creative and tasty variations on the RumChata pudding shot recipe to try today.
All shots include the same basic ingredients: cold milk, RumChata, 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed and 1(3.9 ounce) package of instant pudding. The flavor of instant pudding that you use will determine the flavor and how to garnish your shots if you want. I like to use the sugar free whipped cream and sugar free pudding whenever I can. I also use 2% milk. To me, I don’t notice a taste difference between the sugar free pudding shots and the ones with sugar and if I can cut some calories and sugar without cutting taste that is a win-win for me.
